Email enquiries

If you email [email protected], your message includes your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that information to understand and respond to the enquiry. Do not include payment details, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information.

Website comments

Where comments are enabled, WordPress asks for a name, email address and comment; the website field is optional. A published comment can display your submitted name, comment and website link. The email field is not intended for public display. Technical details such as an IP address can also be stored with a comment.

The comment form offers an optional checkbox to save your name, email and website in the browser for later comments. Leave it unchecked if you do not want those details saved that way. Do not put private information in the comment text.

Google Analytics

The site currently includes Google Analytics 4 to measure website use. Google’s tags can send usage information and use cookies such as _ga to distinguish browsers and sessions. Details are explained in Google’s GA4 cookie documentation and Google’s privacy policy.

This notice does not claim that analytics is currently blocked until consent: the present site code loads the analytics tag directly. A visitor-consent implementation remains to be configured and verified. Browser cookie controls can restrict stored cookies, but blocking cookies alone does not establish that no analytics requests are sent.

Website operation and external services

The hosting and WordPress services can process technical information needed to deliver pages, maintain the site and investigate errors or misuse. Following a link to another website exposes you to that website’s own data handling. We do not receive your venue payment information through our editorial pages.

Storage and enquiries about your information

Email messages and submitted comments may remain stored until reviewed or removed. We have not verified a single retention period covering hosting logs, email, comments and the Analytics account, so we do not state one here. Contact [email protected] to ask about information you submitted or request a correction or removal. Include enough detail to locate the relevant enquiry or comment, without sending unnecessary identification.
